Poland Invokes NATO Article 4 After Drone Incursions
Zakaiya Adekunle, Opinion Editor • September 24, 2025

Tensions between Poland and Russia escalated on Sept. 9 when multiple drones entered Polish airspace during an overnight attack on Ukraine. Polish officials described the incident as a violation of national airspace and labeled it an act of aggression.   This is not the first reported drone incident. In 2023, authorities investigated a suspected Russian drone found in a Polish cornfield. While those circumstances were unclear, officials said the most recent incursions represented an immediate threat.   Russia denied targeting Poland, stating its strikes were directed only...

A Season to "Fall" in Love With
A Season to “Fall” in Love With
Ginger Galemmo, Staff Writer

Each season of the year is special and different. At the same time, all four have their upsides and their flaws. Yet, only one season seems to stand out as the American favorite: Fall. If you googled the “most popular season”, fall will be the first thing you see. In fact, I couldn’t agree with Google more.   In my opinion, there's no easier time than when it is autumn to pick out...

Laugh Break

-Why did the math book look sad? Because it had too many problems.

-What did one pencil say to the other? “You’re looking sharp today!”

-Why don’t scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything.

-Why did the computer go to the nurse? It caught a bad virus!

-Remember: a day without laughter is like a pencil without lead—pointless.

App for That

There’s an app that works like a translator, but for dogs! Apps such as My Talking Pet and Dog Translator claim to interpret your pup’s barks into human words. While scientists say it’s more for fun than fact, many pet owners enjoy “chatting” with their furry friends. Who wouldn’t want to know what their dog really thinks when it’s staring at the treat jar?

Fun Fact

Did you know that apples float on water? If you have ever played the game “Apple bobbing", you might have seen apples float on top of the water. The reason why they float is because they have air pockets that contain about 25% of air, which makes them less dense and causes them to float to the top. The apple is also lighter for its size compared to the water it displaces.

The Over/Under

I find the idea of football games amusing. I think they give good opportunities for socialization, but here's my opinion on them: student athletes often have practices after school which leaves them out of the opportunity to have a good spot in the section. Unless you are considered in the “popular” group of people there is no way you will be able to stand up front and enjoy the game like those who are. Football games are a popularity contest and in my opinion way overrated.
