In the months of December to February the winter activities start. There are numerous winter activities such as ice skating, snowtubing, snowboarding and skiing. Snowboarding is a difficult sport to do and it involves serious skill. Snowboarders have a fifty to seventy percent chance of getting hurt. There is alot of equipment that goes into snowboarding such as a snowboard, bindings, googles, gloves, helmet, and clothes appropriate for the weather. Snowboarding takes a lot of practice, but eventually practice makes perfect.

Skiing is a very dangerous sport that some people have a love for. Skiing, along with snowboarding, takes a lot of practice and is tricky to get the hang of. Skiing is considered a prehistoric activity that came around about 8000-7000 BCE and was discovered in Russia.
¨I learned to ski at an early age, It was very entertaining and I continued to do it for many years. Going to Boston Mills and skiing with my friends is the best.¨ Brock Gray 25’ said.
Although there are better states in the country for these sports such as Utah, Vermont, Colorado and Oregon people will travel to some of these places to enhance their ability and overall just have fun.
Figure skating is also popular and a difficult sport to do. Figure skating needs a lot of lower body strength and cardio. The winter sports are liked by many and are very popular in some states. Participating in winter activities comes with a lot of pros such as getting in exercise even when the weather isn’t ideal and along with that burning calories. Being out in the cold also boosts someone’s immune response. Improved endurance will show during these such activities. Partaking in these activities provides you with better sleep and energy when you wake up.
Getting out during the winter time might be a difficult task to do, but trying different hobbies that involve exercise, health benefits and entertainment could be a good idea. Snowboarding, ice skating and skiing are popular winter activities that many people enjoy.
