Gizmo-
The very first animal on this list is a dog, but not just any dog, a dog by the name of Gizmo James Gearhart. Gizmo is a two-year-old handsome young lad that belongs to Senior, Mallory Gearhart. He is the product of his father, a Miniature Poodle, and mother, a King Cavalier. This mix results in a beautiful golden-brown fur color. The Gearhart family adopted Gizmo in the summer of 2021 and he has been the family favorite ever since. Gizmo loves going on walks and practicing new tricks, especially with his mommy, Michelle Gearhart. He spends his free time chasing squirrels in the backyard. In the time that Gizmo is not playing, he is enjoying his favorite meal of all time: chicken. With his playful spirit and adorable appearance, there is nothing to not love about Gizmo.
Meatball-
Meatball Spaghetti Doan is the tabby cat belonging to Senior, Morgan Doan. Meatball is an extraordinary cat currently going into his 18th year on earth. Not only has Meatball lived a long life, but he also has a very special talent: singing. Meatball is famously known for being able to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Happy Birthday. Meatball was rescued from a local hoarder house when he was a kitten, and at two-years-old, he was lovingly adopted into the Doan home. Meatball is very personable and hates being alone. According to Doan, Meatball is different from other cats.
“Meatball is more of a dog than a cat. He will ring a bell to go outside, to use the restroom, or greet you by the door as soon as you walk in the door,” Doan said.
Meatball is a playful, loud and outgoing cat who lightens Doan’s every day.
Kiritori-
The last furry friend is not like the others. Instead of a fluffy tail and soft paws, she has beautiful feathers and sharp claws. Our next pet goes by the name Kiritori. Kiritori is the parakeet belonging to senior Parker Green. She was gifted to Green during a sleepover without the knowledge or consent of her parents seven years ago and has been the loudest member of the Green household ever since. She likes watermelon, hates bananas, and spends her free time attacking men, who she also hates. She was named after the main character of a Japanese children’s cartoon “Kiiroitori,” which means yellow bird, reflecting Kiritori’s beautiful plumage. Kiritori almost died two years ago when she developed cancer; however, after an eleven hour surgery, she managed to persevere. Kiritori’s favorite human is her owner, Parker, so if you can’t find her in her cage, she’s probably climbing in Parker’s hair or ripping out her earrings.
