Many people have the question of if they should order items off of Shein or Temu and which is better. Since Temu is such a new website,a lot of people don’t know much about it or if it’s the best place to get things. On the other hand, people don’t order things from Shein because it either doesn’t have good quality items or they are not true to size.

Temu became relevant in the United States in Sept. of 2022, but never was really known to most Americans until Feb. 2023. It is now starting to get more people’s attention with new commercials and media platforms. Temu became the most downloaded app in the U.S after its ad during Super Bowl 57 in 2023.

Although many people have been ordering from Temu, most of the reviews are not good. Most shoppers state that they never received their package or if they did, it took weeks or even months to arrive. Temu has items for really good prices, but they often receive ratings of less than 1.5 stars.

Shein, however, has been relevant in the United States since March of 2011, but never really was popular or known to a lot of people until May of 2022. Because Shein has been in the United States longer, more people feel confident ordering from them over Temu. There are more people who prefer Shein over Temu.

The reviews from Shein are higher than Temu with 3 to 3.5 stars although that’s still not very high. It is higher than Temu’s 1.5 stars. Most of the reviews state how a lot of the clothing is true to size and the material is good quality. They also state how they got their packages on time or with a little wait time.

A lot of people are saying how Temu is just a scam and they would never order from there again. Although the statement may be true, no one really knows for sure yet since it is so new to the United States. There is also not much history behind Temu, which makes buyers a little hesitant from buying from there.
