Chill Hanging Spots with Carter Hane

Carter Hane

Carter Hane and both of his parents/teachers before Homecoming this year.

Carter Hane, Green High School senior, has many opinions on the best local places to chill with friends at, and he visits his favorites many times a month. Hane put great emphasis on his time spent at Center Ice skating rink in Jackson, Ohio.
“That place is so fun, but make sure you have a one to one ratio of guys to girls or else people may give you dirty looks,” Hane said.
Center Ice holds certain time slots to public skate for anyone, and they allow a discounted price if you reserve online. Coming in at $14 to rent skates and time, Hane believes it is very worth your money.
Secondly, Big Shot Golf is a new facility in Firestone that Hane cited in his interview. Hane visited Big Shots for the first time this past weekend, and he did not give a single complaint on his experience. In his experience, Hane played golf, ordered food, and bonded with his friends.
“I had a great time. No wait, great food, and better gameplay than Topgolf.” Hane later stated “I will never make the drive up to Topgolf again.”
Nimisila Reservoir, located on the edge of the city of Green, is a place that Hane holds to the highest standard as a hangout spot with his friends and family.
Hane stated, “Nimisila is a versatile place that many people go to for many activities, my time there can range from hammocking, kayaking, paddle boarding, rock skipping, climbing trees, and more.” Hane noted that “hammocking is by far my favorite activity at Nimisila. My friends and I listen to a customized playlist we made. It is fire.”
Overall, there are many places in the area that are considered to be chill hanging spots by Hane’s standards. Hane continuously hangs with his friends, promoting a “more fulfilled life” according to Hane himself.
