In the political world, there is a ton of conflict going on with the new war in Iran. Political leaders have seen a lot of divide in the last few weeks about this topic and it is going to stay the same for the foreseeable future.
The war began on February 28, 2026 when the United States took out Iran’s leader and many of Iran’s top officials in their first attack. More and more strikes have begun to take place and have started to cause issues in the war.
Over time, more Middle Eastern countries have started to join the fight, and countries from Europe have slowly begun to be more involved. Nations such as France, Greece and the United Kingdom have been shooting down drones and defending their land. Other countries in the Middle East have also been brought into the fighting, due to the fact that some of their air bases are being taken down. Iran has been battling back from the strikes launching 500 missiles and 2000 drones. Iran has been trying to find a new leader, but a lot of the people who can elect the leader have gone into hiding because of their fear of death from the United States and Israel.
In the United States there has been a ton of divide within the Republican and Democratic parties. The Democrats are arguing the idea that the president, Donald Trump should not have the power to be able to fight against these countries without the approval of congress. Shortly, there will be a bill that attempts to restrict Trump’s power without the congress’s approval. The Republicans are in full support of Trump stating that he should be able to fight and launch missiles without congressional approval for a fast defense and attack.
Overall, this war is going to be moving forward for the foreseeable future.
