One of the world’s largest female superstars will be making rounds in something outside of her normal trade; Megan Thee Stallion, one of the most prominent female music artists, will be making her debut on Broadway. She plans to star in one of the popular musicals, Moulin Rouge!, on March 24th of this year. Megan already has experience as an actor and has been preparing rigorously for the role as she has stated that it is a very tasking duty. 

In the performance she will be playing Harold Zidler, the infamous owner of Moulin Rouge, and will be the first woman to ever portray him in a professional show. She will be wearing a white bodysuit, a necklace, black tights, black boots and a black top hat. Her character will break norms in Moulin Rouge! and be a role model for performers all over the world who aspire to transcend the barriers of normalcy. 

The show itself was created in 2001 originally as a movie, but was adapted into a theatrical performance later on. The story follows an American man named Christian who is in Paris and searches for inspiration. He finds a woman at the nightclub called Moulin Rouge and the story follows the interactions between Christian and the woman, Satine.

Megan will reprise this role for 8 weeks on the show and will wrap up her performances on May 17th of the same year that she starts. While she will only be performing this role for a limited time, her barrier breaking star power will make her performance one hard to forget. 

The show itself will take its final bow on Broadway on July 26, 2026 as it will no longer be on Broadway. However, there will be performances after Megan’s 8 weeks as the show constantly changes the performers on it.
